It might only be July, and you may be thinking about what you will do for the rest of the summer — relaxing by the pool, sleeping in, taking the kids to get ice cream, or just enjoying time together as a family. You’re probably not even considering things like fall, school starting, and the beginning of Halloween season, but that doesn’t mean that Disney isn’t!

Halloween is one of the most popular times of year at the theme park, full of spooky sights, characters in cute costumes, fun decorations, scrumptious seasonal food, and mesmerizing nighttime spectaculars.

Both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort have Halloween parties, and this year, Disneyland’s Oogie Boogie Bash will begin earlier than ever.

Most people don’t begin enjoying the fall season until after Labor Day, but Oogie Boogie Bash will be bringing the creepies and crawlies to Disney California Adventure Park beginning August 17, and Halloween throughout the rest of the Disneyland Resort will officially begin five days later, on August 22.

As part of the Halloween season, guests visiting Disneyland Resort can enjoy experiences like Halloween Screams fireworks, Haunted Mansion Holiday, Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark, Disney’s Happiest Haunts: The Villains’ Trail Guided Tour, and so much more.

The spookiest time of year at the Happiest Place on Earth will be full of fantastic frights!

Beginning August 22, Storyteller’s Café at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will begin offering Clarabelle’s Enchanted Halloween Dinner. Clarabelle and some of her friends will be wearing some adorable Halloween outfits with a woodsy spin.

According to an image shared by Disney, Clarabelle will be joined by Daisy Duck, Goofy, Donald Duck, and Pluto, who will go around to each table and visit guests.
