While Walt Disney World is known for its large collection of classic dark rides, thrilling roller coasters, and dozens of hotels, but the resort is also known for being quite expensive.
There are numerous ways guests can save money during their trip to “The Most Magical Place on Earth,” like visiting during slower months, cutting out Lightning Lane reservations, or taking advantage of limited-time deals, but guests should expect to spend some serious cash to see Cinderella Castle or the Tower of Terror.
This isn’t a new development, as prices for Walt Disney World have continued to rise year over year. From park tickets to special events, visiting Disney World has never been as expensive as it is today. This trend continues in 2026, with theme park tickets set to see an overall increase over this year.

Starting with 2026 theme park tickets, guests should be prepared to spend slightly more on specific dates. For the most part, ticket prices range between $199 and $199, the same as in 2025. However, Disney’s dynamic pricing can cause some confusion and obscure the actual prices compared to previous years. Certain days and months in 2025 actually have more expensive dates than 2024, even though the range stays the same.
Looking at months like July, August, and September, it’s easy to see that most park days are on the higher end of the pricing spectrum than the lower end, representing an overall increase compared to 2024.

Ticket prices have steadily risen over the years, with 2025 being no different. Tickets for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year range between $119 and $229, depending on the date guests are visiting.
This represents an increase of up to $30 over 2024’s ticket prices.
Other smaller price hikes have also affected the parks recently, affecting the cost of snacks and merchandise. As we said earlier, there are certain ways to cut back on the cost of a Disney World trip, with the resort offering a very special and unique discount on water parks this year.
In 2025, guests staying at select Walt Disney World hotels can enjoy free admission to both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. The only catch is that guests must visit on the day of their check-in. If you choose to take advantage of the deal, this is a great way to cool off and ease into your vacation.
