Jurassic World Rebirth (2025) has arrived.
Though it will be a couple of weeks before the new film hits theaters worldwide, it premiered at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London yesterday, June 17.
Of course, the cast and crew were in attendance, with director Gareth Edwards (2014’s Godzilla, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) and Scarlett Johansson (Avengers: Endgame, Black Widow) leading the dino-sized ensemble, all of whom were dressed to impress.
Also on the red carpet was screenwriter David Koepp, who penned the scripts for the first two films in the Jurassic series, composer Alexandre Desplat, and Johansson’s co-stars, Jonathan Bailey (Bridgerton), Rupert Friend (Obi-Wan Kenobi), Mahershala Ali (The Green Book), Luna Blaise (Manifest), and Audrina Miranda (Lopez vs Lopez), to name a few.

Is Jurassic World Rebirth Any Good?
Jurassic World Rebirth hasn’t been officially distributed in theaters by Universal Pictures yet. However, as many were in attendance at the London premiere, you will find reviews online in some shape or form, however big or small (but be warned — spoilers bite).
While anticipation for the film is high, it doesn’t feel anywhere near as fever-pitch as it did back when Jurassic World was released in 2015.

That film, directed by Colin Trevorrow, grossed $1.671 billion worldwide. Its sequels, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018) and Jurassic World Dominion (2022), also crossed the $1 billion threshold, so it will be interesting to see if Rebirth can reach the same heights.
Many fans have been critical of the initial trailer that dropped a few months ago, with some describing it as having lots of out-of-place humor and an overall generic plotline.
The seventh film in the blockbuster series, which has so far grossed over $6 billion worldwide, follows Scarlett Johansson’s covert operations expert Zora Bennett as she leads a top-secret mission to an abandoned InGen island, where the expedition comes face to face with mutant dinosaurs, including the Distortus Rex and the Mutadons.
Hit Theaters or Wait for Streaming?
However you choose to watch Rebirth is up to you, but as it’s a Jurassic film, it’s best experienced on the biggest screen. Perhaps the trailer below will help you decide:
