UPDATE: Construction continues on the life-size gingerbread house at Walt Disney World’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. This will be the 17th year of the holiday tradition. The gingerbread house will now officially open on Nov. 19 and will remain open until Jan. 1.

11/10/2015 – Construction has started on the life-size gingerbread house at Walt Disney World’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
The gingerbread house is being built in the lobby of the hotel. Construction is set to be finished by Friday, Nov. 13.
