Universal Studios Hollywood and Spirit Airlines have unveiled an exciting new collaboration to commemorate the first anniversary of SNW. The highlight of this collaboration is the introduction of the first-ever Super Nintendo World-themed airplane, an Airbus A320neo.
This unique aircraft was unveiled on X (formerly Twitter) yesterday afternoon, with the official Universal Studios Hollywood account sharing the exciting news. The airplane features Spirit Airlines’ iconic yellow color scheme, adorned with the airline’s wordmark on the side and tail.

The illustration depicts Mario in action, captured mid-“wahoo!” as he leaps high above the themed land with his fist raised triumphantly. Additionally, the logo for SNW is prominently displayed on the right side of the image.

SNW Celebrates Its First Anniversary
In addition to this thrilling collaboration, Universal Studios Hollywood is marking the land’s first anniversary with various celebratory offerings. These include the release of a limited edition Golden Power-Up Band, a commemorative button, and the grand opening of the Power Up Cafe.

SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, located at Universal Studios Hollywood’s lower lot, officially opened its doors on February 17, 2023, offering guests around-the-clock access seven days a week. This immersive land is a vibrant recreation of iconic video games, boasting colorful scenery, interactive elements, and exhilarating rides. One of the standout attractions is the 4D ride, which offers an immersive experience for visitors.

It’s worth noting that this ride has a height requirement of 40 inches (102 cm). For riders falling within the height range of 40–48 inches (122 cm), a supervising companion aged 14 or older is required to accompany them.
