E3: Cosplay invades video games as Dead Rising 3, Bayonetta 2 add costuming fun

Cosplay seems to be a common theme across bonus content in some highly-anticipated video games revealed at E3 2014.

When the trailer for new downloadable content for Dead Rising 3 was shown off, it featured the game’s main characters dressed as a number of familiar Capcom outfits, specifically mentioning cosplay in the hyper-active trailer.

Under vibrant streetlights, a dynamic hero adorned with striking red beads confronts zombies in a thrilling, colorful spectacle reminiscent of Bayonetta battling onstage or the excitement of a Dead Rising-themed park attraction.

Packaged with Bayonetta 2 will be the original Bayonetta, adding the ability to dress up its sexy main character in Nintendo character costumes including Princess Peach, Link, and Samus Aran.
