A trip to Paradise Falls isn’t necessary to step into the world of Disney/Pixar’s hit 2009 animated film “Up” as a home builder in Utah has recreated the famous house from the movie. The authentic replica of Carl Fredrickson’s flying house featured in the film was constructed by Bangerter Homes with colorful detail found throughout.
While it isn’t attached to balloons, nor is it likely to fly away, the home is featured in the 2011 Salt Lake Parade of Homes and available for tours through Sunday, August 14. Its decor is inspired by the film’s setting in the 1950’s era and contains plenty of nods to the familiar characters and props.

The “Up” house is 2800 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, permanently located on the ground at 13222 South Herriman Rose Blvd in Herriman, Utah. It’s also for sale for just under $400,000. More information and photos can be found on the Bangerter Homes web site.
