Walt Disney World hosts fans for Royal Wedding “tweet-up” and gathering with special surprises, entertainment

Disney fans of all ages dressed as beloved princesses gather outdoors by a vibrant Disney-themed sign, bringing the enchantment of a Walt Disney World celebration to life.

Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings organizers welcomed around 500 excited guests to the Wedding Pavilion at the Grand Floridian Resort to watch the British Royal Wedding on ABC television.

Guests were invited to dress up in “princess or prince attire” (or just pajamas) to begin the wedding festivities at 4 a.m., watching them unfold overseas live on TV. The wedding between Kate Middleton and Prince William took place at Westminster Abbey with the Archbishop of Canterbury officiating. But that wasn’t the only spectacle for Disney guests.

An English-inspired breakfast was served with Cinderella’s Coach present as a backdrop for pictures. Newly-released Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Jewels and tiaras and Disney Princess-inspired wedding gowns from Disney Fairy Tale Weddings by Alfred Angelo were showcased and even the Fairy Godmother made an appearance.
