Lantern-lit boats float across the water at Universal’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter, recreating the enchanting arrival at Hogwarts Castle, which glows under a full moon for an immersive nighttime experience.

Starting this summer, “Harry Potter” fans can embark on a week-long river cruise to visit various filming locations throughout the United Kingdom.

Chicago-based company Barge Lady Cruises is offering Harry Potter-themed trips from August 5 – 11 and August 19 – 25. Guests cruise along the River Thames aboard the Magna Carta, making stops at several recognizable “Harry Potter” locations. Stops include Virginia Water, where Harry encounters Buckbeak at the lake in “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban”; Picket Post Close, the actual location of 4 Privet Drive; and the Great Hall at Oxford’s Christ Church College, which served as a model for the Great Hall at Hogwarts.

Guests also make a visit to Warner Bros. Studios for a tour of “Harry Potter” props and costumes.

The Magna Carta, a vibrant blue and white boat, glides down the river with excited guests on board, weaving through lush greenery for an immersive Harry Potter-themed adventure—a must-experience magical cruise in the UK perfect for summer fans and families.

The magical trip aboard the Magna Carta can include up to eight passengers with rates starting at $4,190 per person. The journey begins at Hotel Stafford in London, where guests are treated to traditional afternoon tea before setting off on “Harry Potter” adventures.
