It’s a long-standing tradition at Star Wars Celebration events for fans to don that famous metal bikini and pose for a sea of onlookers atop a Jabba the Hutt backdrop.
But this year’s gathering of Slave Leias held a special meaning, as the group had the late actress Carrie Fisher in mind. Once assembled, the group brought out a special banner reading “Our Princess Forever” with photos of Fisher wearing the very same outfit.
This year, the group also moved from the Gentle Giant booth’s Jabba en masse over to The Star Wars Show stage for another giant photo against their Jabba’s Lair backdrop.
