Walt Disney World is making another adjustment to its theme park entry requirements, and for some Disney fans, the timing couldn’t be better.
With November approaching and the busy holiday season right around the corner, guests are preparing for some of the most popular weeks of the year at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
However, getting into the parks isn’t always as simple as showing up with a valid ticket or Annual Pass. Depending on the type of admission guests hold, Disney’s reservation requirements can create an additional obstacle.

Now, Disney has confirmed that certain restrictions will be lifted beginning November 1, giving eligible guests more freedom to visit without making advance reservations.
The change won’t apply to everyone, but for thousands of Disney World Annual Passholders, it could make planning their next visit considerably easier.
Disney World Confirms November 1 Changes to Park Entry Requirements
Walt Disney World has officially added its first two November 2026 Good to Go Days to the Annual Passholder calendar.
Disney has designated Sunday, November 1, and Thursday, November 5, as dates when eligible Annual Passholders can enter any of the resort’s four theme parks without securing an advance park reservation.
The confirmed dates are:
-
Sunday, November 1, 2026
-
Thursday, November 5, 2026
On these days, Passholders can choose which Disney World theme park they want to visit without worrying about securing a reservation beforehand.
That means eligible Passholders can visit Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, or Disney’s Animal Kingdom, subject to their pass restrictions and park capacity.
The November 1 date is particularly noteworthy because it falls on a Sunday.
Under Disney World’s usual Annual Passholder reservation rules, visiting Magic Kingdom on a weekend generally requires an advance reservation, even though Passholders have additional flexibility at other parks.
By designating November 1 as a Good to Go Day, Disney is removing that reservation requirement for eligible Passholders visiting Magic Kingdom as well.
It’s a relatively small operational adjustment, but it could make a noticeable difference for locals and frequent visitors who prefer spontaneous Disney World trips.
Not All Disney World Ticket Restrictions Are Disappearing
While the announcement gives Annual Passholders more flexibility, there are some important limitations.
First, Good to Go Days do not eliminate Annual Pass blockout dates.
Passholders must still follow the restrictions associated with their particular pass. For example, someone whose Annual Pass is blocked out on a designated Good to Go Day cannot use the announcement to gain admission.
Disney also continues to enforce theme park capacity limitations.

That means entry is not guaranteed if a park reaches capacity, even when guests don’t need an advance reservation.
Additionally, the changes apply specifically to eligible Annual Passholders. They do not represent a complete elimination of Disney World’s theme park reservation system.
Guests with date-based tickets generally don’t need theme park reservations, while certain other admission types may still require them.
For Annual Passholders, however, the announcement removes one more planning requirement on two specific November dates.
Disney World Will Still Enforce Restrictions November 2 Through November 4
There’s another detail Passholders should understand before heading to the parks.
Although November 1 and November 5 have been designated Good to Go Days, the dates between them have not received the same designation.
Disney’s current calendar shows that November 2, November 3, and November 4 remain regular reservation days.
On those dates, Passholders generally need to make advance theme park reservations or take advantage of Disney’s after-2 p.m. entry rules, where applicable.
Magic Kingdom has an important exception to that afternoon flexibility on Saturdays and Sundays, which is why the November 1 designation is especially useful.
The current upcoming Good to Go schedule includes:
-
Wednesday, October 28
-
Thursday, October 29
-
Sunday, November 1
-
Thursday, November 5
Disney could announce additional Good to Go Days as November progresses, but no other November dates have been confirmed in the current release.
Guests should avoid assuming that every weekday or weekend will offer reservation-free access simply because the month begins with this adjustment.
What Happens If You Already Have a Disney World Reservation?
For Passholders who already booked a reservation for November 1 or November 5, there’s good news.
Disney automatically removes reservations from its reservation limit calculations when a date becomes a Good to Go Day.
Guests may still see their original reservation listed under the My Plans section of the My Disney Experience app, but it will no longer count against the maximum number of park reservations they can hold.
This is especially helpful for Passholders who regularly plan multiple Disney World visits in advance.
Rather than canceling and rearranging reservations themselves, guests can allow Disney’s system to handle the adjustment.
Passholders can also check the My Disney Experience app for future Good to Go announcements, which Disney releases periodically throughout the year.

Disney World Passholders Get More Flexibility Ahead of the Holidays
The timing of this announcement matters because November marks the beginning of one of Walt Disney World’s busiest and most festive periods.
As Halloween celebrations wrap up, the resort begins transitioning toward Christmas decorations, seasonal entertainment, holiday merchandise, and special events.
For Annual Passholders who live nearby, these seasonal changes can provide plenty of reasons to make additional park visits.
Some may want to spend a few hours at Magic Kingdom enjoying the holiday atmosphere. Others might prefer visiting EPCOT or Disney’s Hollywood Studios without committing to a particular park days beforehand.
Good to Go Days make those spontaneous visits easier.
They also give Passholders more flexibility when plans change unexpectedly. Instead of worrying about whether reservations remain available for their preferred park, eligible guests can make their decision closer to arrival.
Of course, the announcement doesn’t guarantee smaller crowds, shorter attraction wait times, or easier access to popular experiences.
It simply removes the advance reservation requirement for qualifying Annual Passholders on the designated dates.
More Disney World Reservation Changes Could Be Coming
For now, November 1 and November 5 are the first confirmed Good to Go Days for November 2026.
Disney has added these dates throughout the year, sometimes announcing several at once and sometimes releasing additional dates closer to their arrival.
That means Passholders planning visits later in November should continue monitoring Disney’s official calendar.
With Thanksgiving approaching and Christmas celebrations beginning across Walt Disney World, the demand for park admission could change significantly from one week to the next.
Disney has not announced that it is permanently eliminating Annual Passholder reservations, and guests should not interpret these Good to Go Days as a resort-wide change to admission policies.
Still, the November announcement is welcome news for Passholders who have grown tired of making reservations for every visit.
Beginning November 1, eligible Disney World Annual Passholders will once again have the freedom to walk into any of the four theme parks without booking a reservation in advance.
For Disney fans who enjoy deciding on a park visit at the last minute, that’s a perk worth taking advantage of.
