Many Walt Disney World Resort guests know Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure as the most popular attraction in the France World Showcase Pavilion at EPCOT. However, the trackless 3-D ride is actually the second iteration of an idea that debuted in 2014 at Disneyland Paris Resort’s second theme park, Disney Adventure World (formerly known as Walt Disney Studios Park).

This March, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure opened after a much-needed, extensive interior refurbishment. Now, Disneyland Paris Resort appears focused on refreshing the landscaping outside the Worlds of Pixar ride.

On October 21, X (formerly known as Twitter) user @DLPReport shared photos from the plaza outside Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at Disney Adventure World, revealing that Disneyland Paris Resort appears to be replacing the 12-year-old trees in the area:

Despite this refurbishment, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure continues to operate normally at Disney Adventure World. Following the lengthy closure that ended in early 2026, Disneyland Paris Resort has not announced any plans for another refurbishment of the Worlds of Pixar ride.

At Walt Disney World Resort, Walt Disney Imagineers recently changed Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure from 3-D to 2-D by removing the glasses guests wear and installing complementary physical set props.

This news comes amid a time of upheaval for Disneyland Paris Resort. In addition to scheduled refurbishments of attractions and restaurants, the European Disney park recently installed plywood barriers and construction equipment for mysterious maintenance projects throughout Adventureland and Fantasyland.
