Over the weekend, Kawaii Slime Company announced on its Instagram that it plans to open a new storefront in the Marketplace neighborhood at Disney Springs. The cutesy slime brand has operated the Kawaii Slime Cart in the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort since 2024, but it’s unclear whether the Walt Disney World Resort location will be larger.

Kawaii Slime Company was formed in 2017, when the founder’s seven-year-old daughter asked if her family could make slime together. What started as a family bonding activity became a booming brand featuring scented, cutesy slimes in textures including butter, cloud, glossy, clear, crunchy, fluffy, floam, and jelly cube. The Las Vegas-based brand is woman- and minority-owned.

Following its namesake, the Japanese word for “cute,” Kawaii Slime Company prides itself on pastel packaging, adorable original characters, and lovingly decorated sensory toys resembling everything from beverages and desserts to animals and fantastical creatures. Most slimes include charms, fake sprinkles, and other mix-ins. The company also offers Signature Dome slimes, slime-making kits, ice cream slime kits, slime activator, plush toys, bags, and other craft kits.
