Less than a week after former Disney CEO Bob Chapek revealed that he considered eliminating the Disneyland Magic Key program because Annual Passholders overused the theme parks and didn’t spend enough money, the Southern California Disney park has reaffirmed its appreciation for its most frequent visitors with an exclusive free gift inspired by the Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay.

Ahead of each Halloween and Christmas season since 2001, Disneyland Resort has transformed the original Haunted Mansion with a festive overlay inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993). The overlay took one year off when Disneyland Resort closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, but returned in 2021. In 2026, the Haunted Mansion Holiday officially opened on August 21.

A few months into the season, Magic Key Passholders can celebrate the Haunted Mansion Holiday with a gift from Disneyland Resort: a set of four lenticular trading cards celebrating 25 years of the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay.

Each card depicts one of the four transforming portraits from the Stretching Room in the Haunted Mansion Holiday, including Jack Skellington, the exterior of the Haunted Mansion, Zero pulling Santa Jack’s sleigh, and Sally.

Guests must show a valid Magic Key Pass to collect their free trading card. Each Passholder is limited to one display frame and one of each card design.
