At 2:37 p.m. on Monday, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call about a “grand theft” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Central Florida law enforcement monitoring account @WDWActiveCrime shared the scanner report on X (formerly known as Twitter):

The Google Maps screenshot attached to the X post pinpoints a location along a roadway near Disney’s Hollywood Studios. However, similar posts historically include addresses that reflect general coordinates used to track incidents at the Central Florida Disney parks, Disney Resort hotels, and Disney Springs–so this doesn’t necessarily indicate where the grand theft call on Monday originated.

The minimum threshold for grand theft in Florida is $750, with penalties increasing based on the value of the property stolen. The value of the items taken from Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and whether they belonged to Walt Disney World Resort or theme park guests, is unknown at this time.

Walt Disney World Resort has not commented publicly on the grand theft incident at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Monday, October 26. Operations at the third Central Florida Disney park appear to be continuing normally.
