The holiday season hasn’t even officially started at Walt Disney World, but guests are already running out of opportunities to attend one of Magic Kingdom’s biggest Christmas events.

Another date for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has officially sold out for 2026. This time, the sellout is particularly notable because it falls near the very beginning of the event’s run.

November 12 is no longer available, becoming the fourth party date to reach capacity this year. Even though plenty of November and December nights remain on the calendar, the latest sellout could be an early warning for anyone still waiting to purchase tickets.

And with the first parties now beginning to feel the pressure, waiting too long could mean having to completely change your holiday plans.

An Early November Party Is Already Gone

November 12 has officially sold out for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom.

What makes this date interesting is where it falls on the calendar. November 12 is only the third scheduled party of the entire 2026 season, following events on November 8 and November 9.

In other words, guests aren’t just buying up the traditionally popular dates closer to Christmas.

Demand has now reached the beginning of the season.

November 12 joins three other dates that previously sold out. November 24 was the first party to reach capacity, while December 22 and December 20 followed.

Those later dates aren’t especially surprising. Christmas week is one of the busiest times of the year at Walt Disney World, and late-December holiday parties tend to have obvious appeal for families visiting immediately before Christmas.

November 12 is different.

It suggests guests who want to experience the party without waiting until the busiest part of the holiday season are also making their plans early.

That could become increasingly important as November gets closer.

Plenty of Dates Remain — For Now

The good news is that guests haven’t completely missed their opportunity to attend Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this year.

At the time of the latest update, November 8, 9, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 25, 27, and 29 remain available.

December also has a sizable number of open nights, including December 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17, and 18.

Still, the November 12 sellout changes the picture slightly.

Until now, someone looking at the calendar might have assumed there was no real urgency unless they wanted a party close to Thanksgiving or Christmas. An early-season date reaching capacity shows that isn’t necessarily the case.

There are still several chances to attend, including November dates immediately before and after the newly sold-out event. However, availability can change as more families finalize their holiday vacations.

Guests who already know that Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a must-do part of their trip may want to keep that in mind rather than assuming their preferred night will remain available indefinitely.

Once a party sells out, guests will need to select another available date if they still want to attend.

What Guests Get With a Party Ticket

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a separately ticketed event, meaning regular daytime admission to Magic Kingdom doesn’t automatically include access to the festivities.

The party itself begins at 7 p.m., but ticket holders can enter Magic Kingdom beginning at 4 p.m. That gives guests several hours inside the park before the official event starts.

Tickets for the 2026 season range from $189 to $229 depending on the night selected.

Children between the ages of 3 and 9 receive a $10 discount, while eligible Walt Disney World Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can also receive special pricing on select dates.

That makes choosing a date about more than availability.

Depending on when guests attend, the cost can vary significantly. Families trying to keep their holiday trip within a certain budget may have fewer options if less expensive nights begin disappearing.

The event includes complimentary treats, stage shows, holiday entertainment, special character meet-and-greets, and a fireworks spectacular.

For many visitors, however, part of the appeal is simply experiencing Magic Kingdom after dark during the Christmas season.

The park takes on an entirely different atmosphere during the holiday event, and the limited-capacity format gives guests access to entertainment and experiences they won’t find during a normal operating day.

The Calendar Is Starting to Change

The latest sellout doesn’t mean every remaining Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party date is suddenly about to disappear.

It does, however, show that demand isn’t limited to the obvious dates.

November 24 selling out first made sense because of its proximity to Thanksgiving. December 20 and December 22 also fall immediately before Christmas, making them natural choices for guests spending the holiday at Walt Disney World.

November 12 doesn’t fit into either category.

It’s early enough in the season that guests still have most of November and all of December ahead of them. Yet enough people have already selected that night to remove it from the available ticket calendar.

That may make November 8 and November 9 especially interesting to watch. Those are the first two events of the season and, for now, both remain available.

November 13 is also still open, giving guests another option immediately after the sold-out November 12 event.

Anyone with flexible vacation dates still has choices. Someone locked into a particular Walt Disney World trip, however, may have a much narrower window.

If a family is only visiting for four or five days and just one Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party falls during that vacation, a sellout could eliminate the event from the trip entirely.

That’s where buying earlier can become important.

Another Disney Holiday Event Has a Different Story

Interestingly, the sellouts aren’t currently extending to every separately ticketed Christmas event at Walt Disney World.

Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios still had tickets available across its 2026 schedule at the time of the latest update.

That creates a noticeable difference between Disney’s two major after-hours holiday offerings.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has already lost four dates to sellouts before its season begins, including a party scheduled for just a few days after opening night.

For guests choosing between the two events, availability may eventually become part of the decision.

Of course, the experiences are different, and having tickets available now doesn’t guarantee Jollywood Nights will remain open across every date as the holidays approach.

For the moment, though, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is clearly the event beginning to see dates disappear.

Waiting Could Mean Fewer Choices

There is still time to purchase tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and more than 20 dates remain available across November and December.

But November 12 selling out sends a different message than the late-November and December dates that disappeared before it.

Guests can no longer assume only the parties closest to major holidays are at risk.

One of the earliest events of the entire season has now reached capacity, leaving November 8 and November 9 as the two available parties before it.

For guests who have already booked their Walt Disney World vacation and know they want Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party to be part of it, the calendar is worth watching closely.

Four dates are already gone.

And now that an early November party has joined the list, the remaining choices may not stay available forever.
