If the pricing goes much higher Universal will start getting my money. If they go crazy I will skip the parks entirely. Fixed income slows down spending !

Disney is definately not worth the money they charge anymore. It is obvious Disney is trying to be for the wealthy only. The average blue collar family can go longer afford to go. For the prices you pay, you spend your entire day in lines, visitors are rude and nasty, and you have to make reservations just to get on a ride. I’ve been to Disney the past few years and have had a terrible time. I couldn’t wait to leave. To many people pushing and shoving, too long of lines and not being able to get on he rides I want to because the reservations are closed for the day and it would only be 9 am. Universal, is cheaper and not as crowded.

I went to Disney World in September this year (2026). The last time I was there was pre-Covid. I was shocked and more than a little disappointed at the blatant and crass money grab attitude in the parks now. Lightning Lane is the most obvious, though. Why is it necessary to gouge guests wallets like this in order to jack up their already excessive profit line? If Walt were alive he would be sad at what his dream is becoming.

Agreed! just saw that they had a 10 billion dollar 3rd quarter, and most of that came from small families who saved for years!

What’s your point? The system works. People want something, especially something that’s a luxury, they save for it, they do it and enjoy it. O, you’re one of those people that wants to be handed everything for free. I’ve heard of people like you. Gross.

A flight for two to Europe and a week of seeing the real Europe or a day at Disney?
The ROI in my house has become the week in Europe.

Show us your math please to support your bs…as someone who lived in Europe for a few years I’m curious as to how you came to this conclusion.

I’m going to DW the last week of this month October. Very sad to say it may be my last time. Higher prices out of my reach.😢 Hope I can find a new “Happy Place”.

Unfortunately, Disney seems to have priced themselves so high that most families cannot afford the type of experience we enjoyed when our kids were little. I have been looking forward to taking my future grandkids but with the reviews i have heard and the pricing i have seen, it looks like grandparent trips to Disney may be out. Seems they only want Superbowl champions and lottery winners to visit now.

Man people complain a lot here

I don’t like the Magic Key yearly increases. This is our only vacation/relaxation from daily life struggles. But it is getting a bit expensive. Wish they could stay the same price for current members and only raise the $ for new members. Maybe raise current membership 1/2 of the yearly increase every other year? Just a thought

Everyone has the right to complain. Disney (just like most theme parks) will keep hiring their prices as long as there are people willing to pay for it. You’ll see….. Maybe in like 10 years it’ll be so expensive that only people making more than $90.000’00’s a year will be able to afford it (I might be exaggerating here though). I wouldn’t be able to afford it. Teacher Aides/Assistants, Para-Educators, Instructional Assistants, etc, don’t get paid much. Less than $40,000.00’s a year. That’s why some people in their 40’s that have a college degree are still living with their parents. SAD!!!!! It seems like unless you’re a lawyer, doctor, celebrity, etc, you won’t be able to afford Disney anymore. SAD!!!!! I just hope that there is someone at Disney that cares for the actual Disney fans (that don’t make much money), sees how they won’t be able to afford to go to their happy place again and can somehow convince others to give these people some slack and not raise the prices anymore. In fact, they should have a helk lot more discounts and not just for people that live in Florida.

If it’s so expensive to go, how come their profit for 3rd quarter was 10billiion. Someone is spending money. Isn’t it 60 million they are spending on their projects? So they have plenty of money to give people a break on their vacation.
