They’ve already screwed up the series with Paapa Essiedu as Snape. Nothing against the actor, he’s amazing, but he’s wrong for that character. There are SOOOO many other characters he could have played, but they chose the SINGLE character that truly needs to be Caucasian. I’m not looking forward to how they explain away why James picked on him…I didn’t ask for that suggested/allided racism when it wasn’t needed.
Now, they’re worried about things “being right.” This show hasn’t been right since initial casting. Make it make sense, HBO.
