Since WDW opened in Florida, guests have complained that there are no picnic facilities near the parking lot. By design. You must buy Disney Food and Drink at outeageous prices if you wish to sit down to eat. How much is a hot dog meal at Casey’s Corners? As much as $20!
That’s because Disney has absolutely zero issue with people bringing in food with them. You can bring entire meals with you as long as you follow their no glass, no large coolers policy. But the other commenter is right this is about Universal’s incredibly strict policies on outside food and drinks.
i go in after 6 pretty often after class and bring in orange juice or soda bottles sometimes. i feel like theyre pretty reasonable about it. if it’s one bottled drink, i have never ever been stopped by security. i do not usually bring snacks though, so i cannot speak on that.
Wasn’t it always like that. I remember my dad bringing coolers and leaving them in the car. We’ld have to meet at the gate at a certain time, go eat our lunch and come back in. He would only buy2 snacks for us. This was back in the 90s too.

I thought this was about Universal, not Disney.

Is the food and water bottle ban just for Halloween Horror Nights or every day at Universal?
Adah
I just got back last week for HHN and I had no issue bringing in a half empty water bottle. They let me in with no issues.
