The end of summer can be an interesting time around the resort. Halloween festivities are already in full swing, fall crowds are beginning to arrive, and Passholders may be looking for opportunities to squeeze in another park day without adding another layer of planning.
Disney has now confirmed an early-September update that should make that easier.
Annual Passholders are getting a convenient way to visit multiple Walt Disney World theme parks during the opening days of September.
And while the month is only getting started, there is a good chance this won’t be the last update Passholders receive.
Being a Passholder Comes With More Than Park Admission
For frequent Walt Disney World visitors, the value of an Annual Pass can extend well beyond simply entering the theme parks.
Disney regularly offers special resort hotel rates exclusively for Annual Passholders. Depending on the promotion and travel dates, those discounts can make an on-property stay more affordable.
Passholders can also receive discounts at participating merchandise and dining locations throughout Walt Disney World. Those savings may seem small on an individual purchase, but frequent visitors can see them add up over time.
Special events can bring additional savings, too. Passholders can receive discounted tickets for select event dates, such as Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Then there are the extras that don’t necessarily have a direct dollar value.
Disney occasionally rolls out Passholder-exclusive merchandise, menu items, photo opportunities, and other limited-time offerings. Annual Passholders have also received previews for new and updated attractions before they officially open to the general public.
Another major everyday benefit is parking. Annual Passholders receive complimentary standard parking at Walt Disney World’s theme parks, removing another potential expense from a day at the resort.
Now, Disney has confirmed another Passholder benefit for the opening stretch of September.
Two Dates Just Became Much Easier to Plan
Walt Disney World has added its first Good to Go Days for September 2026, with September 2 and September 3 officially joining the calendar.
Good to Go Days allow Annual Passholders to enter Walt Disney World theme parks without making a theme park reservation.
Normally, Annual Passholders may need a theme park reservation depending on the date and circumstances surrounding their visit. Good to Go Days removes that requirement, making a spontaneous trip considerably easier.
Passholders still need a valid admission, and applicable blockout dates continue to depend on the Annual Pass type they hold. But for eligible Passholders, these designated dates eliminate one planning requirement.
The September 2 and September 3 dates apply across Walt Disney World’s theme parks, giving Passholders flexibility in deciding where to spend their day.
The new dates arrive as summer winds down, picking up right where August left off, following the August 31 Good to Go Day.
Disney also adds Good to Go Days periodically rather than releasing every date far in advance. That means Passholders should continue watching the calendar throughout September.
More dates could appear as Disney evaluates attendance and reservation availability.
For locals or anyone already planning to be around Walt Disney World this month, that could create additional chances for relatively spontaneous park visits.
September Has Another Passholder Opportunity Waiting
Good to Go Days aren’t the only reason Annual Passholders may want to visit Walt Disney World in September.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is already well underway at Magic Kingdom, bringing Halloween entertainment back to the park on select nights.
The separately ticketed event includes trick-or-treating, character appearances, themed entertainment, attraction experiences, and other seasonal offerings available during party hours.
And Passholders can take advantage of a small discount on tickets for eligible party dates.
That may be especially useful for anyone who hasn’t committed to attending yet. September has arrived, but not every remaining party night has sold out.

If you’re hoping to attend Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year, buying tickets sooner rather than later could help you avoid watching your preferred date become unavailable.
Passholders already considering a September visit could potentially pair a regular park day with a Halloween party during the same trip, depending on their plans and ticket availability.
Passholders Should Keep Watching September
September is off to a positive start for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders.
With September 2 and September 3 now designated as Good to Go Days, eligible Passholders have two early opportunities to visit the theme parks without needing to secure a park reservation first.
Those dates follow the August 31 Good to Go Day and could be only the beginning. Disney can continue adding dates as September progresses, so Passholders should keep checking the calendar before locking in their plans.
Add in resort offers, dining and merchandise discounts, complimentary standard theme park parking, exclusive experiences, attraction previews, and savings on select Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets, and the Annual Pass continues to carry benefits beyond repeat admission.
For now, September 2 and 3 are officially on the board.
And with nearly the entire month still ahead, Passholders may have more good news coming.
