That was not always the case. They started as a small perk, a freebie you grabbed if you happened to be walking past the right spot. Now they have a following. Passholders track release dates, plan park days around pickups, and keep the full run displayed at home like a timeline of the years they have been visiting.
Part of that is scarcity. Disney typically releases only a handful of these each year, making each one a limited-time keepsake rather than standard merchandise. Part of it is timing. The magnets tend to mark moments, tying back to a new attraction, an anniversary, or a shift happening on property.
This one does exactly that. And after weeks of teasing, it is finally out.
The Kermit the Frog Annual Passholder magnet is now available at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
A First Look at the Kermit Magnet
Disney has shared a first look at the design, and it leans musical.
The magnet puts Kermit front and center, reclined against a Walt Disney World logo with a wide grin. He has a banjo slung across his lap.
“Walt Disney World” runs down the left edge, and “Annual Passholder” spells out in bold black letters along the bottom.
The banjo is the detail worth noticing. It is a nod to Kermit’s signature instrument across decades of Muppets performances, and it loosely ties the magnet to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at Hollywood Studios.
That connection is the whole reason this magnet exists where it does. The Muppets moved onto Sunset Boulevard when the coaster reimagining opened, and Disney has been building Passholder offerings around that presence ever since.
Where and When to Pick It Up at Hollywood Studios
The logistics are straightforward but worth getting right before you drive over.

Each eligible Passholder must be present and show a valid Annual Pass along with a government-issued photo ID. You cannot send someone to grab one for you.
That “while supplies last” line deserves attention. Magnets tied to popular characters have historically disappeared before the posted end date, and Kermit has decades of goodwill behind him. Six weeks sounds generous until the supply runs out in three.
Two More Muppets Perks Running Now
The magnet is the headliner, but it is one of three Passholder exclusives running through September 24.
Key Lime Kermit Milkshake
Available at Dockside Diner during normal operating hours. Passholders must present their Annual Pass in the My Disney Experience app, along with a valid photo ID, to purchase.
Key lime is a smart choice here. It gets the green without leaning on artificial color, and it is a flavor that actually holds up in Central Florida in August, which is more than several seasonal offerings can claim.
Kermit PhotoPass Magic Shot
Offered by Disney PhotoPass photographers from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
Rather than meeting Kermit in person, guests see him magically added to the finished PhotoPass image. Magic Shots have grown in popularity because they add characters or effects after the photo is taken, and this exclusive version is not available to regular day guests.
Note the narrower window. The magnet is available on all park days. The Magic Shot runs throughout the day. If you want both, plan around the hours they are available.
Disney notes that PhotoPass locations and times may change, and these experiences remain subject to weather and operational adjustments.
How This Rollout Played Out
For anyone who has been following along, the timeline is worth recapping.

One reminder that trips people up.
Entering Hollywood Studios as an Annual Passholder still requires a valid Annual Pass, with a park reservation when required, entry after 2 p.m. on eligible days, or a visit on a Good-to-Go day, if applicable.
The magnet does not create park access. Sort out your entry before you plan the trip around it.
Worth the Trip to Hollywood Studios
If you were already planning a Hollywood Studios day in the next six weeks, this is an easy addition. Ride Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, grab the Magic Shot on Hollywood Boulevard between 10 and 4, pick up the milkshake at Dockside Diner, and swing by Mickey Shorts Theater for the magnet.
All offerings are in the same park, and none of them requires much backtracking.
Everything wraps up September 24, though the magnet is the piece most likely to run out first. If it is on your list, the earlier, the better.
