Three more 2026 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party sold out dates have been added at Walt Disney World Resort, shrinking the remaining calendar for Magic Kingdom’s separately ticketed Halloween event to just 15 nights as of August 27.
The latest dates to disappear are September 13, September 15, and October 22. That leaves one August party, seven September parties, and seven October parties still available before Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ends on Halloween night. For guests still building a fall Walt Disney World trip around the event, the window is getting noticeably tighter.
Only 15 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Dates Remain
Disney scheduled 38 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party nights for 2026, running from August 7 through October 31. Disney’s official event page describes the celebration as a separate-ticket event held from 7 p.m. until midnight, with party ticket holders permitted to enter Magic Kingdom beginning at 4 p.m.
As of August 27, the remaining party dates are August 30; September 1, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, and 29; and October 1, 2, 4, 18, 23, 25, and 27. Disney’s live ticket calendar warns that tickets are limited and may become unavailable on or before an event date.
The narrowing calendar continues a pattern Inside the Magic has been tracking throughout the summer. Earlier this month, 26 party dates were still available. By August 20, that number had fallen to 22 as additional August and October nights sold out. The latest movement means guests now have fewer than half of the original 38 dates left to choose from.
September Is Losing Some of Its Earlier Options
The newest sellouts are especially relevant for guests targeting September. September 13 and September 15 are now unavailable, joining September 4, 8, 11, and 18 among the month’s sold-out parties.
That leaves September 1 as the final available party at the beginning of the month, followed by a gap until September 20. Guests looking later in September still have several choices, but Disney’s live inventory can change as additional nights reach capacity.
Inside the Magic previously reported when September 4 became the first September party to sell out for 2026. At that point, September had only just begun losing inventory. The month now looks substantially different for guests who waited to finalize their plans.
The trend also matters because Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party affects how visitors structure a Magic Kingdom day. The party is not included with standard daytime park admission, so guests who want to attend the Halloween event need a separate ticket.
A Sold-Out Party Does Not Mean Magic Kingdom Is Closed All Day
There is an important distinction for Walt Disney World guests: a sold-out Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party does not mean Magic Kingdom is unavailable to regular guests for the entire day.
Magic Kingdom still operates for daytime visitors on party dates. However, regular guests without party admission must leave before the separately ticketed event takes over in the evening. For vacation planning, that creates two different decisions. Guests who want the traditional nighttime Magic Kingdom experience may prefer a non-party day, while those specifically seeking Halloween entertainment need one of the remaining event tickets.
That distinction is also why the remaining “15 dates” applies specifically to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party access—not general access to Magic Kingdom. The Halloween event ends October 31, rather than continuing into November.
What Guests Get With a Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Ticket
The limited availability comes as Disney continues its 2026 version of the family-focused Halloween event. Disney Parks Blog’s official 2026 event guide says party offerings include trick-or-treating, character appearances, themed food and merchandise, and exclusive entertainment throughout Magic Kingdom.
Returning entertainment includes Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, and Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks. The fireworks presentation features Jack Skellington and Disney characters in a Halloween story projected around Cinderella Castle.
For 2026, Disney also added new entertainment. Stitch, Lilo, and Angel appear in Stitch’s Masquerade Mashup in Tomorrowland, while Captain Jack Sparrow leads a new pirate-themed offering in Adventureland. Those additions join attraction experiences and Halloween overlays available during the party.
Guests planning costumes should also review Disney’s event-specific rules before arriving. The Remaining Calendar Could Keep Shrinking
Disney has not announced that the remaining 15 nights will sell out, and availability should not be treated as guaranteed until a ticket is purchased. The company’s own guidance recommends purchasing special-event admission in advance because events such as Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party can sell out quickly.
That warning carries more weight now that September 13, September 15, and October 22 have joined the unavailable dates. Halloween night itself has been sold out since May, when Inside the Magic reported that October 31 disappeared shortly after general-public ticket sales opened.
For guests still hoping to attend, the practical takeaway is straightforward: check Disney’s live ticket calendar before locking a vacation itinerary around a specific party night. There are still 15 opportunities on the schedule as of August 27, but the number has been moving downward throughout August—and the final available party remains October 27 unless Disney’s inventory changes again.
