Not everyone gets to be in the parks during the holidays, and that is a genuinely frustrating part of being a Disney fan.

Halloween season at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort is arguably the most merchandise-heavy stretch of the year outside Christmas. Popcorn buckets. Sippers. Spirit jerseys. Ears. Home decor. Loungefly bags. Most of it is park exclusive, most of it sells out, and a fair amount of it never appears on shopDisney at all.

If you live in Ohio and your next trip is in March, you watch all of that happen on social media and then move on with your life.

That gap has been getting smaller lately. Kohl’s has been carrying casual Disney Halloween apparel. Target does seasonal Disney runs. And now another national retailer is stepping in with something specifically built for this season.

Aldi is releasing a Disney Halloween collection, and if you want any of it, plan on being there early.

When the Collection Drops

The Disney Halloween Aldi Finds collection hits stores on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.

Aldi teased it on social media on August 18, showing several items featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Winnie the Pooh.

The retailer’s own framing sets the tone:

“Your Halloween obsession and your Disney obsession just became best friends. The Disney Halloween #ALDIFinds collection is creeping into the Aisle of Shame on 8.26, bringing plenty of spooky charm, fall magic and ‘adding to cart immediately’ energy. Count on ALDI to have all the affordable Disney gear your fall-loving heart desires.”

What Is in the Disney Collection

Based on Aldi’s tease, the collection includes:

  • A Mickey Mouse-shaped pumpkin decoration
  • Mickey and Minnie Halloween slippers
  • A Winnie the Pooh Halloween plush
  • A Mickey pumpkin mug
  • A Minnie Mouse plush
  • An orange mouse ears headband
  • A Halloween accent rug
  • A throw pillow featuring Mickey and Minnie dressed for the season

That is a home decor collection more than an apparel one, which is a different angle than what Kohl’s has been doing.

One Item With a Confirmed Price

One piece is already listed on Aldi’s website. This signals that more could show up in a similar price range.

The Winnie the Pooh Disney Halloween plush is $9.99. Pooh wears a pumpkin costume complete with a jack-o’-lantern face and a pumpkin-stem hat.

It is listed online now but will not be available until August 26.

Ten dollars for a licensed Disney plush is the entire pitch here. Comparable park merchandise runs more than that.

Why You Need to Move Fast to Get This Disney Merch

This is the part that matters most.

Aldi Finds merchandise is generally available for a limited time only, and selection varies by store. This is not a permanent product line that restocks. When it is gone, it is gone.

Aldi’s own nickname for that section tells you everything. The Aisle of Shame has a following specifically because the inventory is unpredictable, rotates constantly, and disappears fast.

Add a licensed Disney collection with Halloween timing to that formula and you get something that will not last the week at most locations. Possibly not the day.

If a specific item is what you want, particularly the Pooh plush or the mouse ears headband, be there when the store opens on the 26th.

Why This Timing Works

The collection lands in the middle of Disney’s Halloween season rather than at the start of it, which is smart.

Walt Disney World began Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom on August 7. Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure kicked off on August 18.

So the parks have already spent weeks pushing Halloween content across social media. Fans have been watching popcorn buckets and party exclusives circulate since early this month.

Dropping an affordable, widely available collection into that environment catches everybody who has been looking at park merchandise and doing the math on a plane ticket.

How This Compares to Disney Park Merchandise

Being honest about what this is and is not.

Park merchandise is more elaborate, more collectible, and considerably more expensive. A Halloween popcorn bucket at Magic Kingdom carries a scarcity value that a national retail run does not.

What Aldi offers is access. A themed rug, a throw pillow, and a mug for the price of one park item, available in a store most people can drive to.

For fans who decorate for the season and cannot get to Florida or California in September, that is a real trade.

Plan Your Trip to the Aisle of Shame

August 26. Wednesday.

Aldi Finds inventory varies by store, so if your local location is small, consider checking a larger one nearby.

And remember that Aldi does not typically restock these. What arrives on the 26th is what that store gets.

Halloween season is fully underway at both resorts and now at a grocery store near you. The parks version costs more and requires a plane ticket. This one requires setting an alarm.
