This time, though, the young Disney Park guest was caught by cast members, and their entire family was removed from the ride. According to reports from other guests, the family was also kicked out of Disneyland Resort.
Earlier Tianas’s Bayou Adventure Incidents This Summer
Disneyland Resort’s version of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure has been in the news quite a few times this summer. The first viral story happened in late June, when a young teenager climbed out of his family’s log at the top of the attraction’s 52.6-foot drop.
In a terrifying moment captured on video, the boy slipped, falling the entire length of the highest hill on the log flume ride. Miraculously, he only suffered minor injuries and was released soon after being treated.
In a rare move for the Southern California Disney vacation destination, Disneyland Resort issued a statement after the boy fell, confirming that local authorities had investigated the ride’s safety mechanisms and cleared it to reopen the next day.
In July, a second child climbed out of the former Splash Mountain ride right before the big drop. While this resulted in an operational delay, that child was not injured and did not fall down the hill. It’s unclear whether this child was attempting to capitalize on the viral story from the month prior.
The Latest Incident on the Bayou Country Attraction
Last week, Instagram user @dvnttrip shared a video of Disney cast members removing a family from their log on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, right before the ride vehicle ascends to the 50+-foot drop. Several logs were bunched up behind the family’s, making it clear that guests had been waiting a while for Disney cast members to remove the group from the attraction.

As several Disney cast members pulled the entire group from the ride vehicle, another cast member announced over the intercom:
“Attention inside Tiana’s Bayou Adventure: it is experiencing a temporary delay in operation. Please remain seated with your hands and seat inside the vehicle. Failure to do so will result in removal from the park. Thank you!
According to the announcement, the family would have been removed from Disneyland Park after one of their children stood up on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. However, it’s unclear whether they were asked to leave the park for the day or received a longer ban from Disneyland Resort property.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure has operated normally in the days following this incident.
