Because so many visitors immediately head toward Lightning Rod, these rides frequently remain more manageable during the first part of the day.

Wilderness Pass and Craftsman’s Valley often stay quieter early because they sit farther from the entrance and don’t have guests entering from another direction. Finally, don’t feel pressured to ride attractions in the order they appear. A little extra walking early can pay off with considerably shorter waits later.
