The use of the word “still” is important. This is not a new problem that appeared overnight. These vendors are operating in an area that is not technically inside the resort, which creates a gray zone in terms of immediate enforcement, but the practice is clearly unauthorized and guests purchasing from them are not getting official Disney merchandise.

Disneyland Paris Is Also Changing Its Operating Hours Starting August 8
Disneyland Paris Resort has updated its operating hours beginning August 8, 2026. Both Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World, the recently reimagined second gate that opened in March as a transformation of the former Walt Disney Studios Park, will close at 10:00 PM starting that date. Through August 7, both parks are currently open until 10:40 PM.
That 40-minute difference may sound small, but for guests who structure their evenings around nighttime spectaculars, late-day attractions, or the general atmosphere of the parks after dark, it is worth knowing in advance. The parks are currently available through the end of August on the official Disneyland Paris website.
Extra Magic Time remains in place after August 8. Guests holding a Disneyland Pass Gold or staying at a Disney Resort hotel or Les Villages Nature Paris will still have access to the early entry window from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at one or both parks. That benefit is unchanged by the hour reduction at close.
Disney Adventure World Is Worth Your Time
The reimagined park opened in March with a significantly expanded set of offerings. The World of Frozen is one of the headline additions, giving Frozen fans an entire dedicated area built around the world of Arendelle. The nighttime spectacular Disney Cascade of Lights provides the park’s signature after-dark experience.
Raiponce Tangled Spin, inspired by Tangled (2010), is among the newer attractions. Walt Disney Imagineering has additional projects in development for Disney Adventure World, including Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings, inspired by Up (2009), and a log flume ride inspired by The Lion King (1994).
The hour reduction starting August 8 affects both parks equally, which means guests planning to catch Disney Cascade of Lights or any other evening programming should check the specific show schedule for their visit dates to ensure the timing still works within the new closing window.
