Disneyland Paris Resort recently removed scaffolding and other barriers from a building in Fantasyland, revealing what has changed about the structure. The building affected is home to La Chaumière des Sept Nains, a gift shop inspired by Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937), known in English as The Cottage of Seven Dwarfs.
Fantasyland Construction Update at Disneyland Paris

This year, Disneyland Paris Resort has slowly been replacing roofs and building facades throughout Fantasyland at Disneyland Park. Most recently, the European Disney park removed the construction barriers around the Les Voyages de Pinocchio (Pinocchio’s Daring Journey) attraction, revealing a new roof and a refreshed facade.
On June 10, Disneyland Paris Resort removed scaffolding from the building that houses La Chaumière des Sept Nains (The Cottage of Seven Dwarfs), a merchandise location in Fantasyland. According to a photo shared by @PixieDustDLP on X (formerly known as Twitter), construction walls still surround the building, but brand-new multicolor roof tiles are now visible to European Disney Park guests:

The scaffolding had surrounded La Chaumière des Sept Nains since January 2026. Since construction walls still surround the building, it’s unclear whether Disneyland Paris Resort plans to undertake any further restoration work. The gift shop’s windows have been covered for some time, with no explanation from the European Disney park for why they’re no longer used to display merchandise.
The Next Project

Scaffolding still surrounds the Blanche-Neige et les Sept Nains (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs) attraction, which has been closed since March 30, 2026. Disneyland Paris Resort has delayed the ride’s reopening twice, but it appears to have finally begun work and facade work on the Fantasyland structure.
Blanche-Neige et les Sept Nains is currently scheduled to reopen on July 28, 2026.

Disneyland Paris Resort hasn’t announced plans to refurbish the roofs on other buildings in Fantasyland, like Peter Pan’s Flight and portions of the Auberge de Cendrillon restaurant.
