Credit: DisneyHoping to book a Disney Cruise Line vacation? Be aware that Disney will temporarily suspend online reservations in July to complete necessary system maintenance. Here’s what hopeful maritime travelers need to know.
Disney Cruise Line Bookings Turned Off
When browsing the official Disney Cruise Line website, a purple “important information” banner pops up, warning visitors that the online reservation system will be unavailable beginning at 4:00 a.m. (EDT) on Thursday, July 9, 2026. Reservations will be available again at 4:00 a.m. (EDT) on Friday, July 10, 2026.
The upcoming system maintenance will also affect online check-in, as well as Cruise Activity and Port Adventure bookings. Guests whose deposits or final payments are due between 4:00 a.m. (EDT) on July 9 and 4:00 a.m. (EDT) on July 10 will have until 10:00 p.m. (EDT) on Saturday, July 11, to complete their payments.
Guests can still call the Disney Cruise Line Contact Center with questions about their vacation, but Disney cast members will also be unable to make reservations or complete payments during the maintenance period. Bookings will be completely unavailable for 24 hours.
The official message from Disney Cruise Line reads:
Beginning at 4:00 AM (EDT) on Thursday, July 9, 2026, through 4:00 AM (EDT) of Friday, July 10, 2026, a planned maintenance will be performed on the Disney Cruise Line reservation system. During this time, Guests will not be able to make or access a reservation online or through our Contact Center. Online Check-in, Cruise Activity and Port Adventure bookings will also be unavailable. Guests with deposits or final payments due during this period will have until Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 10:00 PM (EDT) to make their payment. We look forward to assisting you with your cruise vacation planning once our systems return on Friday, July 10, 2026.
Anyone with push notifications enabled on the Disney Cruise Line app will also receive a similar warning on their mobile device before the system maintenance begins.
