A warning has been issued after a police investigation led to three arrests at a Disney park.
While Disney’s theme parks have stringent security, they can – and do – turn to local police in extreme cases. Law enforcement is summoned to Disney property for everything from suspected thefts to violent incidents, such as when a British tourist pushed a queue jumper to the ground at Magic Kingdom and when a boxing influencer engaged in an alleged altercation with his girlfriend in the EPCOT parking lot.

Wider operations have included an investigation into merchandise theft and resale, which led to the arrest of 28 passholders in March.
A separate investigation has now led to three more arrests at another Disney park.
Three Men Arrested at Disney Park
Police activity increased around one Disney park during the busy May Day holiday, as authorities targeted illegal taxi practices.

Officers from multiple units carried out coordinated enforcement efforts across key tourist areas, including Hong Kong Disneyland and nearby transport hubs (via Hong Kong Commercial Daily).
Undercover officers posed as tourists inside the Disney area, monitoring driver behavior. Three local men, aged between 45 and 78, were arrested after allegedly approaching them and offering rides that broke multiple regulations. The vehicle involved has since been impounded for further checks.
Authorities allege the drivers overcharged passengers, avoided the most direct routes, and failed to display valid taxi licenses. Each offense forms part of a wider crackdown aimed at protecting visitors, particularly during peak travel periods when demand for transport spikes.

Separate operations took place at Hong Kong International Airport, where officers posed as arriving passengers. A 41-year-old driver allegedly solicited business in a restricted parking area and was later stopped. He is expected to face prosecution following initial investigations.
Police said enforcement will continue across major tourist hotspots, including Disney. Officials warned that violations tied to taxis remain a priority, with further action planned to maintain order and ensure visitors are not taken advantage of during their trips.
In 2025, another investigation focused on guests performing “photography services of any kind” on Hong Kong Disneyland property.
