For the third time in less than a year, the Teddi Barra audio-animatronic is missing from the Country Bear Musical Jamboree at Magic Kingdom Park. The reimagined Frontierland show, which debuted in July 2024, continues operating on its normal schedule.

Missing Audio-Animatronic at the Country Bear Musical Jamboree

A colorful animated scene shows multiple bears performing on stage dressed in cowboy, cowgirl, and frilly outfits. They sing and play musical instruments like guitars and banjos. The background has a festive, western-themed decor with curtains and stage lights.

In the original Country Bear Jamboree, Teddi Barra descended from the ceiling on a swing and sang “Heart, We Did All That We Could.” Since the 2024 retheme, the audio-animatronic bear, now voiced by Grammy winner Allison Russell, swings above the audience singing a country version of “A Whole New World” from Aladdin (1992).

On Tuesday, though, WDWNT reported that Teddi Barra failed to appear during performances of the Country Bear Musical Jamboree at Walt Disney World Resort. During “A Whole New World,” her hatch on the ceiling remained closed. Teddi Barra’s disembodied voice sang as the Wendell and Gomer audio-animatronics performed on stage. The outlet shared this photo of the characters, sans Teddi Barra, during “A Whole New World” on Facebook:

Similarly, Teddi Barra did not descend from the ceiling during the finale, a country version of “The Bare Necessities” from The Jungle Book (1967).

Walt Disney World Resort has not commented publicly on the reason the audio-animatronic is missing or when she will return. Country Bear Musical Jamboree is still open for Magic Kingdom Park guests, with continuous performances at Grizzly Hall from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Teddi Barra also went missing from the Frontierland show in September 2025 and then again in February 2026. Both times, it only took a few days to a week for the audio-animatronic to return to Magic Kingdom Park. Hopefully, the singing bear will be back soon!
