As with most scanner calls at Walt Disney World Resort, the pin on the attached Google Maps screenshot doesn’t actually indicate where the missing endangered person report was made. Rather, police calls at the Central Florida Disney parks and resorts are often logged at central addresses, not the location of the emergency.

Neither Walt Disney World Resort nor the Orange County Sheriff’s Office has shared any details about the missing endangered person investigation. If the person was found quickly, it’s unlikely that their identity will ever be released.
What Walt Disney World Guests Should Know
Guests visiting Magic Kingdom Park on Thursday shouldn’t expect any operational impacts from the missing endangered person investigation. The Monorail continues to run on its normal loop between Magic Kingdom Park, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, the Transportation & Ticket Center (TTC), Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Guests can also walk between Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

As always, guests who encounter law enforcement during their Walt Disney World Resort vacation should follow all written or verbal instructions from officers and Disney cast members. Disney works to minimize the impact of police investigations on other theme park guests.
