I wish they would. Unfortunately it’s going to make a billion dollars off the spineless nostalgia sheeple/shills and we’ll get a sixth and seventh and so on. By then they’ll have to use AI voices to replace the deceased voice actors.
I’m a big girl and I wouldn’t have watched a girl power movie. I’m sick of girl power; what about man power?! Passed hard on Turning Red and didn’t bother with the overrated Kpoop either. Yes, they did the right thing in cancelling that movie. Not many cared for Hoppers either, should’ve cancelled it. Pixar sucks. And I’m not caring for Girlboss Toy Story 5 either. That needed cancelling as well as the 4th one needed it.
The photo attached to this makes you think or hope Pixar cancelled toy story five at the last minute. It’s all about girl power to when they had to put jessie in the lead and buzz is probably still dumbed down after the feminist 4th one. Girlboss bo peep was disgusting. I don’t want to see jessie saving the day from a female ipad. Should’ve stopped after the third which wasn’t all that great either.
Turning Red was girl power, why didn’t they cancel that? Hoppers was female lead and flopped that should’ve been cancelled as well. I don’t know anything about kpop but I know it’s weird and didn’t deserve the worship it got. There’s some other girl lead movie coming out soon about two “best friends” who end up in some magical world together when adults and looks very insinuatingly woke because one woman got short hair and kinda muscled.
I haven’t been to the theater in over ten years, haven’t missed one blessed thing. Even if it’s not a female lead movie they throw in some bold, unstoppable female somewhere who tells the weak, confused man what he’s doing wrong.
Now that the other commenters got me thinking about Toy Story 4 and 5 I’ll include my two cents as well. Yes, they destroyed Toy Story with feminism as well. Bo Peep was NEVER a warrior princess. She was sweet, humble and gentle. That flashback during Andy’s childhood when the toys rescued the car was fabricated nonsense. And of course they did away with her skirt, turned her staff into a weapon-like tool and gave her a “battle scar” (her broken arm) to make her more manly. Hopefully she won’t be in the unnecessary fifth movie much but I don’t want to see this happening to Jessie. I saw how they had her leading the charge of toys. Toy Story was always about having Woody in the lead, as it should’ve stayed.
I don’t even watch Pixar anymore except for their older stuff. Now it’s just cheesy junk with chubby cheeked, bean mouthed characters. They used to be good. End credit bloopers, funny shorts…now they’re nothing.
