I was born the same year the first movie came out and grew up watching it and the second. I still watch them repeatedly and obsessively. I watched the third in theaters with my mom and grandmother. It was ok except for Buzz’s DEI aka Spanish mode and fake Demo mode which he would not have either.
I was at work when my coworker showed me the trailer for the fourth on her phone and I was like, is Disney serious? 😒 I didn’t go running to the theater wailing oh my childhood instead I acted like it didn’t exist until I bought the DVD for someone else for a Christmas present and ended up borrowing it to see myself out of curiosity. It was awful. Making bo peep a girlboss and dumbing down Buzz was an insult. So I’m passing on this next girlbossed sequel. Everyone is either passing away or getting too old for their voice roles anyway. Disney is just milking the franchise into oblivion.
Actually when I first read the head line I was scared they were announcing a remake or some cheesy animated series.
Anyway I’m just sticking to the first and second. The rest is just leftist slop.
