On Tuesday afternoon, Disney cast members suddenly evacuated the Space Mountain roller coaster, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue, and other portions of Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park. Lines of Disneyland Resort employees prevented anyone from entering the area from Fantasyland, Main Street, U.S.A., and other parts of the original Southern California Disney park. Reports allege that several Disney cast members had physical reactions to hazardous materials backstage, forcing an emergency response.
Space Mountain and Tomorrowland Evacuated

On March 10, WDWNT reported that Disneyland Resort had evacuated the Space Mountain and Star Tours – The Adventures Continue attractions and their queues, as well as other areas of Tomorrowland. Disney cast members stationed outside the Star Traders store blocked guests from entering the gift shop. The outlet shared this photo on Facebook:
The effects spread throughout Disneyland Park. At least one performance of the “Celebrate Happy Cavalcade” was cancelled as Disney cast members evacuated guests from Space Mountain and Star Tours – The Adventures Continue through backstage areas. The Space Mountain bathrooms are also closed, as well as the top of Star Wars Launch Bay.
Disney cast members also blocked guests from entering outdoor areas near Space Mountain, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue, Alien Pizza Planet, and the Tomorrowland Theater. Other Tomorrowland attractions, including Astro Orbiter, Autopia, and Finding Nemo’s Submarine Voyage, remain open, as does the Galactic Grill Quick-Service dining location and the Little Green Men Store Command merchandise location.
Hazardous Materials Backstage

Shortly after news broke that portions of Tomorrowland had been evacuated, a scanner monitoring account, @OC_Scanner, posted that multiple people had been hospitalized due to an ongoing hazmat situation at Disneyland Park. The Anaheim Fire Department responded.
