So naturally, they’ve got a good thing going, and they’re going to screw it up royally by miscasting someone else as Spiderman.
Typical. Hollyweird always screws upon pursuit of profits.

It sounds more like they are making their own new live action spiderman that fits into their own universe with Venom and the like.

Due to nonstop, convolution of reboots, recasts etcetera of “Hollywwierd.”

      I’ve developed a relentless head-spliting migraine!!

Mental fatigue is pushing me to the brink!!! ENOUGH!!!

Perhaps, all enthusiast with any grey matter left… should give Marvel and The Gunner Dome a proper “Good Night.” Let them watch their passive aggressive cinematic mish-mashe themselves!!

So instead of allowing tom to be Spider-Man for the next 20 years we get another unnecessary reboot

It would be insane to leave Holland as Spidey for the next 20 years. Quite apart from “Does he even want to do it” Is he capable of it? Who wants to see a middle-aged Spider-Man? We’ve already seen that in Spider-verse as Peter B. Parker.
Holland is believed to be contracted for 6 more appearances as Spidey, 3 solo films and 3 ensemble.
Assuming BND does well, I estimate the next two films might film by 2030, by which time Holland will be 33/34. If it doesn’t perform to expectation, Sony will probably pull the trigger on the reboot sooner rather then later.

It’s typical Sony they have a good thing going with Tom Holland as Spider man that’s done quite well for them and they’re going to reboot the franchise again Sony should have done the right thing and give it to Disney you keep changing it over and over fans and ordinances won’t bother going to watch them and stop bowing down to the snowflakes and woke nuts they wouldn’t know a good movie if it slapped them

  4. Rodger

I believe that Andrew Garfield deserves to have his 3rd film.

Honestly Sony is messing up if they recast Spiderman for the 4th time, Tobey McGuire got the boot when he was too serious in Spider-Man 3, Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man got recasted when he lost his uncle and Beth Stacey, I wonder what they’re gonna do that makes them recast Tom Holland (the best Spider-Man so far, hands down, don’t @ me.)

Y’all are so cringe and annoying. Tom has said multiple times, he wants to drama and theatre. He doesn’t want to be Spider-Man anymore. So of course it’s coming to an end and they have to do something else.

It will be a shame to see Tom leave the role. I’ve really enjoyed watching him as Peter/Spiderman. But all good things come to an end. They rebooted Superman and I thought Gunn did a good job so there is hope, but it needs to be fresh and different, not just a rehash of stories and villains we have seen before….

I guess no one knows that Song HAS to put out a Spidey movie of some variety every 5 years or else Sony loses the contract for ownership in movies..
It has nothing to do with creating an SSU or any major story. It’s literally to keep a hold of spiderman rights

    1. BiZ_R

Not exactly. There needs to be _something_ SSU related released every 5 years to reset the clock but if they release 3 within 8 years the clock resets to 7 years. But anything counts, including spinoffs egg Kraven, Madame Web, Venom, Morbius as well as TV eg forthcoming Spider-Noir live-action and Spider-Verse.

TL:DR Sony has comfortably hit the target and will retain rights for 7 years after the last currently known scheduled project release, which I think is Beyond the Spider-verse (2027).
Holland is believed to be contracted for upto 2 more solo films so could push the license window to 2037 by the time those two release.

I think yes tom hardy should come back as venom and keep tom Holland as Spiderman then you could bring them both together I’d love to see venom working with the avengers

  10. ScarletteSpiderDancer

Without ‘Stan THE Man’ NO ONE has gotten Spidey completely right. Reboot, not redo. And this time DO NOT VEAR AWAY FROM COMIC BOOK CANON!!! Then and only then will you win back the O.G.’s of webslingerfans. Any detour away from Canon disappoints and destroys the spider verse beyond repair.

Stay with Tom Holland, please, he is well Established in the role well loved & a brilliant, funny, charismatic actor, good looking fun & just totally likeable

  12. Manwell Terrett

For the love of God Sony leave fucking things alone and keep tom Holland as spider man

  13. MH IFTI

Tom Hardy is very important and well-known for Venom in the Venom movie, and yes, it would be good to have Spidey because their emotional story is the same and their hand-to-hand action would crush the entire Sony, MCU, and Hollywood if it was directed that way.
