Mud Brown was one of the greatest insults Disney did to poor Walt.
And as for Lilo and Stitch remake, that sucked to. I don’t care how much it generated off the weak sheeple, it was a disgrace to the cartoon to. Disney will never learn from their mistakes on remakes and neither will the sheeple who keep watching them but I learned mine years ago: Disney can’t do anything right and I ain’t watching no more remakes.

Snow White’s legacy isn’t over. The original 1937 cartoon will forever be remembered as Walt’s jump start to his company, a story about a sweet, humble girl finding the man of her dreams and how people used to put hours and true skill into handrawing characters.
This 2025 disaster, however, will forever be remembered as the worst movie Disney ever made; a true insult to both Walt Disney, Germany (because Snow White is a German tale) and America.

Even black and Mexican people were upset that she was a brown person playing a white/German character; I read their comments on YouTube. Why is she pitching a hissy anyway, she made it quite clear she didn’t want our business and we did exactly as she asked. What’s the problem?

This movie was dead on arrival. When it flopped, disney got scared enough that it was said they cancelled the tangled remake. Unfortunately when Lilo and Stitch remake hit theaters, shills acted like Snow White never happened and ended up giving disney the bighead about screwing remakes again. Disney won’t learn until shills back down. Lilo and Stitch was terrible. Making girlbosses out of the sisters and slapping ohana in the face was uncalled for.
I didn’t see the remake of Snow White. I didn’t want to. Why?? Because I read the reviews first.
Disney has lost its first love: providing opportunities for families to experience high quality entertainment, first through the film industry, then moving forward through other endeavors such as Disneyland and Disney World. Walt wanted a place “where parents and children could have fun together.” That’s it. That was his passion; his love for families.
There were fewer questionable films to make a buck on. There were divas on the screens but it seemed that they still managed to portray the character they were hired for. Adapting a story to reflect today’s “independent” woman was a bad choice for Disney. It went to far.
And what is meant by the independent woman anyway? Independence does not mean rudeness or self-centeredness. It does not mean being haughty or that you’re above helping others or doing your share in life. I do see it as being free from depending on others for my happiness. I believe that I need to find things for myself that make me happy or that I’m interested in.
And Snow White’s “independent” character has as much to do with who “she” is as a person as it does with our American culture. Adults who behaved like this, even a generation ago, used to be the exception, I think anyway, I don’t have statistics on it…..but look at us now. Our culture, as a whole, has become the people we see on our TV shows and Movies. Our Social Media sites are filled with people who are name calling, degrading, disrespecting and stereotyping others who don’t agree with their point of view. AND OUR KIDS ARE WATCHING US. THEY WANT TO BE JUST LIKE US. AND THEY WILL BE IF THEY AREN’T ALREADY. Well done. I’m no better. I’m almost 70 and my kids are the best and worst of me…it’s bittersweet.
I just see adults everywhere, on the roadways, on the news, even in our churches, living like Snow White or”slinging mud” at others for difference of opinions. It’s sad. Why can’t we hold our tongues and agree to disagree?
I’m going to watch the original Cinderella, where the main character was a wonderful person. She treated people fairly even while being treated unfairly. The villains, if you will, are the step mother and stepsisters. Why Villains? They acted entitled, disrectful, and treated Cinderella cruelly They did this until the Prince came into Cinderella’s life and then they changed their tune. Too Late! I try to stay away from those “Stepmothers and Stepsisters”. They are not good for ones mind and heart. They just create conflict.
There may not be a real Cinderella with her Prince in shining armor, but I find my own “happily ever after” place, because, in my world, I want to love, to be kind and respectful. and i hope, that I can find these in return. I wish you all a day of happiness and peace.
