Unfortunately, we are now one of those families. We are annual pass holders at WDW, but we spent a week at UOF last summer and bypassed Disney completely. The hotel rates and value alone saved us so much money at UOF.
We stayed at our DVC resort last year but only went to Universal parks. All of the workers were extremely nice, and my daughter was able to get accommodations that Disney will no longer provide for any of our family. Which made the whole experience so much more enjoyable! We are planning ingredients to stay at Universal and take advantage of the buses etc next time. There is too much constructipn and attractions closed at once, with higher prices and Disney is no longer accommodating or caring towards their most loyal customers such as DVC members. We know other families who also stay at their DVC resorts and go to Universal as well!

Cutting bookings by 50% is a big move for Disney. I wonder how that’ll impact crowd levels in the parks.
