These hotel room discounts are not discounts. You can’t raise prices then say we’re offering are offering room discounts. We’re either paying the same price we would have paid before prices went up or still paying more than then with the discounts. They must think we’re stupid. Just because you say discount doesn’t mean it’s a deal. Still way overpriced and pricing out middle class families.

We don’t want people like you there anyway, go back to your shanty

BUT, there’s still nothing aimed at DVC members who pay high dues and maintenance fees for hotels that also cater to cash guests! I appreciate the few food & merchandise discounts offered for Disney owned locations, But DVC members are some of the most loyal guests and can NEVER participate in any other deals – such as free dining, ticket discounts etc. because we pay for and use our points – which are not cheap! Moonlight magic nights are nice – WHEN AND IF you can get into them. But they’re late, usually only have a few attractions open, no food locations (only some snacks provided), and are not distributed evenly to those who actually have reservations at the time of the event, and those who do not. Come on Disney! Give DVC members some love! Even a ticket discount would help more members be able to actually attend the parks on their vacations instead of doing other things more affordable!

In other words, they want to incentivize the people with the most money and the highest likelihood to return soon with high end perk discounts instead of giving breaks and perks to families who literally save for years for their one Disney trip.

  4. Oh really

So much for disney being inclusive. They talk the talk waving virtue signal flags over men in dresses. They don’t walk the walk, no inclusion unless a family can “invest” in a vacation. Inclusion is fine as long as it is free, but bugger-all for real inclusion if it costs anything.

DVC members have a hard time getting into the Club Level rooms. Disney prioritizes these higher cost rooms to those who can pay it. Offering the VIP Experience discount to only these rooms, is 1) ridiculous, because these people can afford to pay the regular cost, 2) Disney is only catering to the higher income people. They don’t want lower or middle class income households coming, as they can’t afford the extras. The ones who can afford it, are going to go to Disney year after year, it’s a 1 time trip, as they will travel to other locations. Disney needs to concentrate on loyal repeat visitors – especially DVC members, who are repeat visitors.
