Can’t say I’m sad to see the sequel go. It was trash. Making the park area more in theme with the original trilogy is a huge improvement and it shows that not everyone at Disney is a complete moron. Before, I would not have even considered going, but with a focus on the core films in that area I feel it may be worth taking my family to check it out.
As a former “opening team member” (Disneyland Operations speak) Batuuan villager, I can honestly say the “Groundhog Day” storyline between 8 and 9 went out the window that December after the land opened, in 2019. The whole storyline of Batuu and Black Spire Outpost was ruined after the reopening of the park in 2021, along with adding characters not cannon to the original “storyline.” Adding Boba Fett, Fennec Shand, Mando and Grogu made no sense at all. They should’ve had the land immersive across all 11 films, but that’s neither here nor there, and I wish you a good journey, on your visit. Till the Spire.
Actually, rise of the resistance has been closed down indefinitely and there’s no way to look and see what’s really going on there so if you guys still wanna believe it, somehow Ray below is gonna show up there they’re changing everything. And I mean everything sequel trilogy is disappearing Thank God.

Never went to Olga’s Cantina. Why is it still Olga’s? It should be Chalmun’s Spaceport Cantina on Mos Eisley.
