I’m glad that remake is dead but they need to kill all those other remakes and crummy sequels to.
And Gaston? Yeah, no one asked for that and Disney just trying to make a fake backstory so another villain can be just misunderstood and the hero the big b u l l y for taking what the villain wanted. Mufasa all over again.
Yep, gaston just gonna be mufasa and transformers one all over again, gaston and the prince gonna be besties from childhood then the prince will get what gaston thought his destiny was so that the sheeple audience will start hating the prince and feeling sorry for poor gaston.
Gaston and the beast be like, we were brothers once. Once.
It’s good they cancelled one or two live action remakes but they need to cancel a whole lot more and should’ve cancelled past ones like that disgusting woke Beauty and the Beast.
Not only will Disney not learn their lesson on remaking classics but the sheeple audience will never learn that Disney keeps screwing them. The Lilo and Stitch remake was horrendous. I don’t care how much it made off the sheeple, it was a bad remake. Making the sisters girlbosses and making out like Ohana is a thing of the past. It’s all about looking out for number one today. Especially number one independent career woman.
Anyway, Disney and sheeple won’t learn their lessons but I have. Disney is dumb and so are people who keep watching their crud.
I’ve seen only two remakes: The Lion King and Jungle Book. Both were only good for the CGI scenery and animal action. And I didn’t rush to the theater wailing, oh my childhood, either. Humor was cheesy in both and dialogue watery. Voice acting choices poor. Songs were watered down and not bright and cheerful. I haven’t seen any other remakes and don’t care to. I don’t trust them to do a good job. Besides, why call these remakes “live” action when 90-100% of it isn’t real? They’re not memorable like the original hand drawn ones. These remakes aren’t your childhood. The cartoons are. The remakes are saddened, dulled down adulthood full of agenda.

So they cancelled one. Big deal. I’m not watching one single film listed in that @rticle. I’ve got remake fatigue and sequel fatigue.

I wish the Tangled remake was dead to. And all the upcoming remakes were dead as well. I won’t be watching any of them.

Same! If I want to see any of those movies I’ll watch the original. And I’m sick to death of having to say either ‘original’ or ‘remake’. So st upid!
