There is NO Pirates without Johnny Depp! They should bring him back as the main character. The children that have grown up watching, dressing up at halloween, and playing with toys of Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow are now adults and have their own income that they would spend to see Depp. Not on any other main character. I am a lifelong Disney fan, first visit to Disney World was in 1976, and the Pirates of the Caribbean ride has always been my favorite. Maybe Disney should ask the life long fan what to do!
I like Robbie, and I would love to see her as a female pirate. But as a CO STAR not a replacement for Jack Sparrow. Johnny Depp IS POTC, and without him the films would sink. End of.
