Ahsoka the figurehead of clone wars? She was missing for well over a full season, I know your trying to write a story but we don’t need to make things up either
Ahsoka was hardly the “figurehead” of The Clone Wars series. That’s definitely a stretch to say the least… Furthermore, Togruta don’t have lekku. The appendages on Togruta heads are called “montrals” while Twi’lek have lekku, but I wouldn’t expect a Disney Star Wars glazer to know the difference.
While I have high hopes for Shadow lord I doubt she will be as popular as Ahsoka. We have to remember that Ahsoka was wildly unpopular when she was first introduced. She grew to be a fan favorite over the many seasons because she learned, and overcame the traits we hated through the challenges of the war. She started as little brat who was overconfident in her abilities and status as a jedi, getting her soldiers killed because of this arrogance. But by the end she grew into a wise jedi who learned the lessons taught to her by everyone who helped her along the way, even teaching younglings those lessons and trusted to even oversee apprentices building their lightsabers.
We will not have the same connection with the new character we are back to square one, and Disney and Lucasfilm do not have a good track record with how they depict female characters after Lucas left, pushing agendas instead of the good storytelling that lead us to love Ahsoka. We shall see.
This isn’t a “replacement” this is a different character! Please stop insinuating that they brought in someone else to replace Ashley as Ahsoka. We all love Ashley Eckstein and she is the true voice and spirit of Ahsoka Tano and responsible for bringing her to life! There is no replacing her!
