    No the Acolyte was not successful because it was woke filth.
    Star Wars basically died the very second Disney got their greedy, woke hands on it and milked it into oblivion. Drier than the Sahara desert, that is.

    Disney themselves is just a bad fit. Acolyte didn’t respect the lore much and the main character was a bit crazy with the demise of people she grew up with at the Jedi temple. That’s just not appealing. The other problem was the shows budget was huge, I expected more visually but mandalorian which was much cheaper in budget felt vastly bigger.
