I can’t see that being done. The only people who are going to care about a film like this are hardcore Jurassic Park fans and to be blunt, they’re not the demographic they care about. Casual filmgoers and Children are the target audience, especially Children as they will (or their parents will at least) buy merch. It’s the same reason you’ll never get a true horror 18+ Jurassic Park adaption of the novel, as awesome as it would be.
I could be wrong. Maybe kids will love to see this…but I doubt it.
There almost certainly wouldn’t be any dinosaurs in a prequel! That’s the whole thrill of the franchise. Think about it. The 1st was before the park was approved for anyone to join. Grant and company were invited only just when the park was barely “finished”. There’s no point in a young Hammond because he didn’t even start until they found enough species in amber.

It’d work better if Hammond was like he was in the book. A nasty, ruthless, calculating businessman who would do anything to make big bucks.
A prequel with a young Hammond could be really dark as was the original concept of jurassic park.
Attenborough was great but his portrayal set the path for kiddy films and all the sequels have been far too tame.
Let’s have a full reboot of the franchise but aimed at adults only

Quality of the AI trailer aside, I wonder what is the point of the prequel? Rather than focusing on Hammond (masterfully portrayed by Richard Attenborough in the first two films) as a young man (before dinosaurs) why not focus on the months leading up to the first film? Perhaps there were more accidents that we don’t know of. I think there is a lot to explore with the dinosaurs prominently featured in the development of the park.
