You need to clarify this is the Gay Days organization’s events. One Magical Weekend events, the four “gay days” in the parks, red shirts in MK are all unaffected. FFS
Disney should celebrate straight days for a month. Tee shirts with families holding hands, parents pushing strollers and children with balloons. Special resort rates for families with children. Parades with Mickey & Minnie and Donald and Daisy with their little ones. All the things that make Disney 90% of their money.
Disney want to celebrate rainbow stuff why don’t they use it for the real reason it existed in the first place: God’s promise to never flood the Earth again. Disney should celebrate Noah Month or Gods Promise Month instead of Sin Month.
I would not go anywhere where they have any event for just gay people. That’s ridiculous. What happened to inclusion???? Give us all a special day then. I suffer from severe depression and anxiety. Can there be a day for us?
I am not against Gay rights and that is a personal choice, either born with the sexual tendency to be attached to the same sex or feeling more comfort in that due to some type of trauma.
But straight folks do not need a parade to celebrate their life, neither do religious, tall people, short people are homily or beautiful people. So stopping a parade that maybe 5% of the people who consider themselves to be Gay, should not be an issue. Gays should not be criticized for their life style or celebrated. He should be a personal choice, kept to themselves.
If you’re going to celebrate the sinners, you need to celebrate Christians to. If you’re going to celebrate the woke, you need to celebrate normal/straight people for not being woke to. If you’re going to celebrate Black History Month, you need to celebrate White History. Don’t celebrate just certain kinds of people without acknowledgement of anyone else or don’t celebrate anyone at all. Talk about racist and prejudice.
The hate filled comments here are stunningly awful. Go read your Bible and follow Jesus’s teachings to love one another. Hate the sin but love the sinner. You all are so disappointing. You will get your just desserts in the afterlife. You all better hope God is not vengeful.
Right, love everyone so I dare you to go up to an ICE agent or President Trump and tell them that you love them and what they do or is all this love talk just for entitled leftwingers only? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Gay days will never be cancelled or on pause. It will still happen as it has happened these last 35+years. What has paused is the horrible commercialization of the event. Disney and Universal Studios saw an opportunity to make a lot of money off the Gay Community. It was so much more fun when Gay Days was less a money maker and more a celebration.
Happy to see gay days cancelled. Gays don’t bother me. But like any group has there are some gays that take over the pools and just hyper sexualize the pools. the poor parents have to either try to shelter their kids from the body undulating guys in bikini bottoms and hanging on one another, or usually not take the kids to the pools.
Gays are people. They don’t need a special day. Disney is welcoming of all. The problem is the sexual expression which is primarily pools and at the resorts not in the park, aside from the park’s pools already mentioned.
Gays are people that want to be treated like everyone else, so why do we have to insist on branding ourselves in flare and rainbows and being flamboyant trying to get everyone’s attention and special treatment? isn’t the point we all want is to just not be discriminated against for our private life choices? but that discrimination can’t really extend to our public behavior, get real. we all have to live together and so there are just some rules to how we should be behaving, and taking over a pool and getting tipsy and being loud and flamboyant and groping isn’t right in public, especially around a park intended primarily for children.
Not sure why Disney feels that any group should be singled out and treated as though they are “special”.
Gays and anyone else can visit 365 days a year just like anyone else without harassment. I’m certain these people would have a meltdown if “straight pride” were to be celebrated. I have gay relatives & friends and I’m not a homophobe. Just blend in with the rest of us and stop expecting to be treated special.

It should be a permanent closure. Not just a crappy pause. Do away with woke days and don’t say gay. Disney is trash.

You should stay off Disney Posts, you have a bad attitude. Not the Happiest Place on Earth for you!

Dude they should be doing that year round not just once a month and totally do away with Shameful Rainbow Month
Yosemite
They should do away with that permanently. If crybaby alphabets get offended, no problem. I’ve been offended by them for years. 😂
