Is it being done because dishonest people are walking out of the store without paying? Maybe they don’t have enough staff to check people’s purchases as they leave the store? Just wondering.

They are turning Disney into a Sam’s club/ Sid flags theme park. Enough is enough already bring back the cast members and bring back the way it used to be.. nobody is really liking Disney as A hole & it llost its touch yrs ago.

I used mobile checkout in California Adventure and Disneyland this past Sunday, Feb 1st.

    When was it supposedly removed?

Easy fix. Don\t buy stuff from the stores. Let their sales drop.
The reality is that it takes at least one person to check your QR code to leave the store. If you need a bag then they have to deal with that as well. That creates a traffic jam in the store. It wasn’t perfect. It was also difficult to deal with fragile items that normally get wrapped in protective padding at the cash register.
