I’m so infuriated by the greed of capitalism! Growth every year is not what we should expect. A company needs to make profit but that profit should not consistently grow Profits should be used to improve the company- salaries, improving buildings, growth. All of these evil, greedy executives must be stopped
I kinda see what you’re saying. But it would be worse if it wasn’t capitalism. It is more greedy types, I agree. Profit is important as every company pays exactly what an employee pays on their paycheck, including their own taxes on the company. But I agree they need to use some of these funds to keep things up, nicer, etc. Also keeping prices down..
Disney is a long term stock always has been, yes buying at any dip is a good move. Another 4 for one split would likely spur a cash influx keeping the short term wall street types happy
It is not a total shock. Bad movies being pushed to the public and not making any money, raising then prices on the parks. I mean middle class now sees this as a luxury. Imagine lower class who work hard to save for these vacations. So sad.
Also the rides. I know many who aren’t impressed with the new splash mountain. Ill take my kids on it, but sucks. It’s sad the original is gone, I still dont get why Pocahontas wasn’t a top especially with the logs. She used one! Plus her story was based on the real one. 🤷♀️🤦♀️
Back in the last Disney Renaissance, blockbuster movies seemed to be released with regularity; Little Mermaid, Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, and Aladdin, and Cars. During Iger’s time at the helm we have had Frozen, and the three times per year release of the latest culture war lecture and indoctrination piece. Half the formerly loyal guests stopped going to see the latest Disney creative releases. The movies were bad and were no longer family oriented. Josh and Dana need to eliminate all political messaging from every guest experience and creative releases. Get back to the basics of good storytelling and writing. Forget the sequels and the live action remakes. Offer original, high quality family entertainment once again. Your creative division has become the boat anchor.
I got out in 2021 with that crap they pulled on Gina Carusso. I love Disney and their parks. Their movies suck and I would buy an index fund long before wasting money on Disney stock.
