Bring Kang back. We all want this character on screen. Majors is a fantastic actor. Personal life has should have never spilled into the public eye. Marvel needs this character back in the verse. Make it happen
Jonathan is an amazing actor and his portrayal had me interested in seeing marvel movies again although his issues were unfortunate they’ve been resolved bring that man back and save the marvel universe
We have to keep in mind that there’s always two sides to a story. Can we not judge and write people off simply because they make a mistake. If everyone was judged by our lives outside of their career, then none of us would make it. Bring the man back.
What happened to getting rid of actors convicted of vile acts? Ya know, like they have with all of the STRAIGHT WHITE MALE actors, who have even been ACCUSED of doing something? Bring Him back already! We all know He’s a great actor. Let’s face it. MCU’s numbers haven’t been that great since U fired Him…..Unjustified. So remove the curse and bring him back WITHOUT killing Him off anytime soon. Y’all did Him like DC did Henry!
There are two points to consider, here: 1) Both Marvel and Disney have their corporate brand to consider. If Majors is actually guilty of these allegations against him, it would be poison to the publicity of this film. Certain sections of the movie-going population would avoid the film- for instance, look at what happened to Errol Flynn’s career, ninety years ago, after all of the controversy he got himself in- underaged girls, Nazi sympathizing, etc. Marvel’s films have been underperforming the past few years, and continuing to employ an actor, or actors, with severe legal problems is going to have a serious negative impact on Marvel and Disney Studios’ Bottom Line. Disney, in particular, is still reeling from the politically-correct disaster that was their live-action ‘Snow White’ movie, of a year or two ago. Neither Disney or Marvel can afford many more failures. 2) Why is everybody acting as if Jonathan Majors is the ONLY actor out there who could essay Kang the Conqueror??? Hollywood is FULL of ‘A’-listers who could handle it! For Heaven’s sake- just RECAST the PART!!! This isn’t brain surgery!! I cannot believe that I am the ONLY person whom this has occurred to! I wish Mr. Majors well, but Marvel Comics and Marvel Studios mean a lot to me, personally, and I will not remain silent if Disney and Marvel Studios are adamant about endangering the franchise by employing performers with sketchy personal backgrounds. Excelsior!
