All I know is I grew up in Arlington TX. Tne original magical Six Flags Over Texas was my playground. It was so special then. It had themed areas representing all the nations that at one point or another claimed Texas as their land. Every area had its own unique costumed park workers and rides. The captain of LaSalle guided boat ride in the France area would give information about Texas and French history. With cannons “shooting” at us and alligators popping up from the water.
Then the woke crowd started complaining about the flags especially the Texas flag so the suits took down the iconic flags and put 6 American flags. I’m sure they’ll take those down too to not offend anti Americans. That started the fall of the park. Then they took down all the themes and turned it into Warner Brothers themed Park. They took down all the interesting rides and went all “thrill” rides. Of course litter kids had to stay in the kid rides section because the suitable saf rides were closed. I took my children their from 3 years old until their 20s with season passes every year. Then the CEO Selim Bassoul made an announcement he didnt want Walmart customers, he wanted Target customers was the end for us. It’s a bygone era.
