Honestly they just need to leave the Jurassic Park film series alone. The original three are good enough and didn’t need five more cash grab half assed sequels to ruin the franchise. Abrams did that with Star Trek and Disney has done it with Star Wars films too. Not to mention the poorly written 2016 Ghostbusters film as well. Leave already existing good movies alone unless you’re gonna do the franchise justice otherwise come up with your own shitty movie idea that doesn’t involve ruining an existing franchise.
I feel like they should leave the dinosaurs to a studio that actually cares about the audience, and they’ll have less restrictions to cater too, and if a studio were to make a JW series it should be based off of the books, the real horror of dinosaurs and humans. I heard stories from the books and if it were in the films it would’ve been amazing, but universal pictures had to many restrictions cause of the audiences, and other stuff I dont fully remember

Sounds like a stretch. As if the original Jurassic Park characters would have never mentioned another scientist and if we can’t interact with the original cast in the game, then what’s the point? Jurassic Park was more than the dinosaurs and the park. The original characters like Hammond, Ian Malcolm, Dr. Grant, Dr. Sadler, Denis Nedry etc. are what made it a great story.
If they do it like the Alien game, then sure. As for the movie, like all of Crichton’s work (and almost all great sci-fi), it was about the people with the dinos as the obstacle. Replace the dinos with something else and it may not have been as popular but it would’ve worked; replace the character with a lessor dynamic and it’s Sharknado.
Ok getting real sick and tired of people complaining over these types of issues Rebirth was fine I really enjoyed it it was one of the better added to the films then 2 and 3of Jurassic park. Look I know you all like things to remain on similar path but apparently you never read the book in which Crighton had Henry Wu foreshadow the type of dinosaur the D Rex in rebirth represented plus the story was well written and designed so enough with constant changes reboots and all let it as it is.

Dominion was full of cheap fan service but it was still good. Actually rewatched it yesterday and it’s not as cheesy as it was at first.
Rebirth is a complete joke. WAY worse than even Fallen Kingdom. By far the worst in the series, if you can even consider it part of the series because it doesn’t relate to anything.
Movie was FULL of glaring issues that annoyed the hell out of me. Including the absolute lack of Jeeps, and the horrible attempted reference of “objects in mirror are closer than they appear” but on the driver’s mirror…. Which never ever has that. I think that glaring oversight on a cheap reference set the tone for the whole movie and let everyone know it was gonna be a complete farce.
If this movie could be erased from existence I would 100% support that.
Rebirth may not have had the best story, but Scarlet Johansson and the edge of your seat I found watching what the others failed at. The T-Rex and raft, the hiding under the car that were in books but taken out from previous iterations. I feel it did NOT ruin the whole franchise and saying that is a load of BS.

They have been teasing us with this game for, close to, 5 4 years. I’ve always wanted a spiritual successor to Dino Crisis, and this looks to be the best looking Dino game in consoles. Only hope it’s worth the wait and not another skull and Bones.
The game might be good, depending on what they really do with it. As for the movie franchise? No, Rebirth didn’t ruin it. The entire Jurassic World franchise ruined it., I just stick with the original trilogy. I did watch the Jurassic World movies, but, by the time Rebirth came out, I just no longer cared. So, I never saw that one.

I liked Jurassic World Rebirth, pretty good story, and I liked Scarlett Johannson more then Bryce Dallas Howard.
